How to Support Type Two Fun
Type Two Fun exists to help people move through the outdoors and travel internationally with more confidence, resilience, and self-trust.
My name is Abbey (trail name Freda Heights) and I’m a personal trainer, long-distance hiker, yoga teacher, and the founder of Type Two Fun.
Everything you’ll find here is grounded in lived experience: real training, real terrain, real consequences when preparation falls short. The goal isn’t motivation. It’s a practical system, education, discipline, & hard-earned insight that actually translates outside of the gym.
Why Community Support Matters
If Type Two Fun has helped you prepare better, think differently, or feel more capable outdoors, you can support the work behind it here.
Your support goes toward keeping this platform alive, evolving, and useful for beginners finding their footing as well as experienced athletes refining their edge.
No pressure. No guilt. Just a way to keep good work moving forward.
How Type Two Fun Supports Others:
- Creating training guides and tools that prepare people for elevation, load, and long days
- Writing clear, experience-driven resources for hikers, climbers, trail runners, and outdoor generalists
- Testing ideas in real environments, not hypothetical ones
- Keeping the content independent, unsponsored, and grounded in what actually works
